"Relative strength of association" is calculated as the odds ratio (OR) multiplied by the log of the number of respondents. We rank related conditions this way to put the more significant ones at the top. For example, in the related conditions list for Migraine, Cluster Headaches gets a higher score than Depression, even though a greater % of respondents report having Depression than Cluster Headaches. This is because Depression is linked to many more conditions than Cluster Headaches. Cluster Headaches is more particularly associated with Migraine.
