Re: Insomnia — My mother and her sisters all seemed to have lots of trouble sleeping through the night, guess I just inherited the "no sleeping" gene.
Re: Frustration — Want to help family, children, help rejectec, want to do it their way, very frustrating to watch them mess up their lives and not be able to get through that their might be a better plan or way.
Re: Light therapy — I bought a philips go light, and was successful at resting my circadian rhythm, when combined with turning down or off lights 2 hours before bed. Candle light has worked well. If I felt sleepy too soon, I would use the light. This allowed me to prolong sleep successfully, without feeling emotional disturbance that usually goes along with a lack of sleep. And by the time I wanted to lay my head down. I was asleep quickly, and prior to the sunrise. Winter is harder time of year for me to control my rhythm. Not so with the phillips go light, Dark slow to start mornings are a thing of the past. My thinking hasn't been clearer in ages, my emotional well being has benefited tremendously.
shoelaced Re: EFT Emotional Freedom Therapy — Worked amazingly on my anger, as well as some other emotional issues I had. The trick is to find the real source of the emotion, which can be difficult, but after some soul-searching I finally eliminated it. I was using it specifically for road rage and I find that people cutting me off or not using their blinkers - things that literally would drive me into spitting fits of rage - doesn't bother me at all anymore. It's still annoying, of course, but it's a nice feeling to be able to just accept it, forgive and forget it.
