Re: Dairy-free diet — Untreated celiac disease can (temporarily or, more rarely, permanently) make you lactose intolerant.

Re: Mouth sores — Antedotal evidence reported in clinical survey is that patients exhibiting micro-fissure cracks at the corners of the mouth confirm positive upon biopsy for celiac disease

Re: Dairy-free diet — Obviously not directly linked to being Celiac but I found that avoiding dairy foots removed the remaining symptoms that just avoiding gluten couldnt.

Re: Non-celiac gluten intolerance — I really think this is celiac with unknown genetic markers.

Re: Vitamin B-12 deficiency — I was being treated for depression and was tested for vit b-12 - turns out I had zero stores, this led to testing for all kinds of other shortages, all of which I had. It eventually transpired that I have non-celiac gluten intolerance and that appeared to be reducing my ability to derive vitamins from food.

Re: Dark circles under eyes — Bit of a surprise for me when my dark circles started to recede. In fact I can tell if I've been glutened by the appearance of dark circles.

Re: Mouth sores — I'm not sure if I should call it moderate or severe. Prior to GF diet I got sores regularly, I'd say at least a couple of times a month. On GF I get them rarely and consider them a sign of having accidentally consumed gluten.
