roamei111 Re: Hepatitis C — My dad had cirrhosis of the liver and turned out, it was due to a dirty tattoo over 50 years prior to he diagnosis. He caught Hep C and with no symptoms or early care, it stayed into his system leading to chirrosis of the liver. Untreated, it is chronic cirrhosis of the liver and can likely develop into liver cancer. Usually a disease of heavy drinkers but not always. My dad never drank... ultimatley his liver failed and 2 weeks after proper diagnosis he passed away.
