textileRe: Dairy (cow) — I ate cow dairy until I discovered that it caused bloating, gas, belching and nausea. Cow dairy contains lactose, a milk sugar. Some people cannot digest lactose because their bodies naturally produce an insufficient amount of lactase, an enzyme that breaks down lactose.
textileRe: Lactaid — Lactaid is a brand of digestive aids to help in the digestion of lactose. It is primarily lactase, the enzyme that digests milk sugar, lactose.
textileRe: Stomach pain — Besides gas and bloating, my stomach hurts after eating cow dairy. The pain is sharp and in my lower gastrointestinal area.
textileRe: Vomiting — One time when I ate a meal of eggplant parmigiana, I had severe stomach pains, bloating and gas for an hour or so. After another hour of these symptoms, I started to belch and felt nauseous. I got up from bed and went to the bathroom and vomited several times. Once all of the eggplant parmigiana was out of my system, I returned to bed and fell asleep. The next morning I was fine and heartily ate breakfast.
textileRe: Gas — I had flatulence immediately after and sometimes a half an hour or hour after eating cow dairy. When I took an aid to help with the digestion of lactose, the milk sugar in dairy products, such as "Lactaid" or "Say Yes To Dairy," the gas dissipated.
textileRe: Bloating — After eating cow dairy (milk, butter, cream, ice cream and cheese) and foods made from ice cream, I felt excessively full and bloated to the point of belching.
