Photographs of the inside of bones have shown that vitamin D is NECESSARY for bones to form correctly. I think the photographs were taken in 2013. Tell all your friends to take vitamin D.
Pharmeceutical treatments over more than a decade have helpdc the DEXA scan numbers look better, but have not prevented fractures (12 in 8.5 years). This includes oral medications, miacalcin, and IV infusions.
