jamfun Re: Chronic but sporadic joint pain, lasting for a day or two each time, often in finger and toe joints — I have just started having joint pain in the last 4 months. I first started getting it in the back of my hands. It would be one hand at a time to the point that I could not bend my wrist very well. It would only stay for a day or so. The pain would then go away and a day, two, three, or even up to a week or more before coming back. It would pop up in a different location. It may travel to the other hand or even to my knee or foot. Yesterday it was in my toe. Today I have no pain in any joint. Tomorrow may be a different joint or no joint at all. There has only been few time where the pain was in more than one joint in the same day. I once had the pain in both hands and in my left knee at the same time. The pain keeps me up and night. I am having troubles with my elbow to where I can not straighten it out, but it is not the same pain that is in my other joints. When I get the pain in my pointer finger nuckle it basically feels like I had jammed my finger. The nuckle swells up, not really any redness, I can't bend the finger well and it is sensitive to the touch. It hurts to the point to where it is hard to write or push the putton on top of a clolgne bottle. I have gone to a rheumatologist one time and have another appointment in two weeks.
Cool! Re: Mid-cycle — My thumb usually stiff during ovulation.
