Re: Zapper — I used the Terminator Zapper from http://www.worldwithoutparasites.com/

It's rather expensive (there are less expensive zappers but I haven't tried them), but it works wonders. My scabies were gone in one day, as well as some other problems I had. It has saved my butt several times during flu and cold season, but that's for another comment section. :) Works great on scabies, though.

Re: "Scabies Killer" from Access Neutraceuticals — "Scabies Killer" works really well and does WONDERS for your skin. The only problem is that it's incredibly inconvenient. You have to pretty much cover yourself in the oil, which never really fully absorbs, and obviously you can't really touch anything or sit down. I usually just stood in the shower after rubbing myself down and meditated for an hour while listening to music, or took some time to just think and reflect on myself and my life. Eventually I kind of enjoyed it and then I'd just shower off with the sulfer soap. The enzyme spray dries well so I'd get out, spray down, let it dry and get dressed. It's the best natural method I've found, but IcyHot, though much less comfortable and full of toxic chemicals, worked much better if you don't mind going that route.

Re: IcyHot (balm or cream with 10% Menthol & 30% Methyl Salicylate) — IcyHot was, oddly, one of the most effective treatments I tried for scabies. I also had great success with AN's "Scabies Killer," and I generally prefer natural methods such as that one, but IcyHot worked MUCH faster. It appears to kill the bugs and the eggs because my symptoms didn't return. I had gotten the problem down to only a few burrow marks and minimal itching, but after only two or three nights of covering the areas with IcyHot, the symptoms were gone. Words of the wise: Do NOT put IcyHot on your genital area. Dear God, that hurts. Spot treating with VERY tiny amounts is fine, but be very careful. Also, if you still have symptoms after a couple days, take a few days off before treating the area again. The chemicals in IcyHot are extremely bad for your skin so only use it on the affected areas.
